Reading for today: 1 Kings 10:1-13 and 1 Timothy 5:5-7
“Blessed be the LORD your God, who delighted in you, setting you on the throne of Israel! Because the LORD has loved Israel forever, therefore He made you king, to do justice and righteousness.” 1 Kings 10:9
It was Solomon’s divinely bestowed wisdom that drove the queen of Sheba to bring praise to the Lord. May we use the gifts God has given us to “let our light shine” (Matthew 5:16) in the world, not bringing glory to ourselves but to our Father in Heaven by drawing people to Him. How can you use the gifts God has given you to let your light shine today?
